The National Association of Balloon Artists and Suppliers (NABAS) was established in 1987 and serves over 700 members including decorators, retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers.
NABAS has various suppliers and a management committee dedicated to banning balloon releases, increasing balloon public awareness, implementing NABAS training courses, and creating new marketing initiatives. They also organize monthly, seasonal, and yearly events, workshops, and seminars.
Professionals in the balloon industry can become NABAS members once they commit to maintaining NABAS standards and policies. Members receive a variety of benefits with their membership fees.
