Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and estimated delivery times are based on your location. Bargain Balloons does its absolute best to get all orders to our customers on time, however, there are times when the delivery of an order may be delayed. This can happen because of bad weather, mechanical failures with trucks or airplanes breaking down, or because isolated local events in cities the package is traveling through– which is out of our control. Delays are more likely in remote areas.
We cannot 100% guarantee any order will arrive by the date the courier company provides us, but they do deliver an average of 97% of their parcels on time.
Ground Shipping Costs and Times
Ground delivery charges are flat-rate, which means you are not charged based on the weight or order size. Our flat rate for ground shipping is $8.92 to mainland USA, no matter the size or weight of your order.
Orders Weighing Less Than 1 Lb.
Orders weighing under 1 lb. (approximately forty 18-inch foil balloons or two bags of latex balloons) are shipped with USPS Priority Post. Delivery times with Priority Post take anywhere from 3 to 7 business days. Orders weighing less than 1 lb. do not come with guaranteed delivery times, however, if you need a smaller order delivered by a specific date, please put a note in the shipping comments when you place the order. We will call and e-mail you if we do not think we can meet the required delivery date. Please see the article USPS Priority Post Details for further details.
Orders Weighing Over 1 Lb.
Ground orders weighing over 1 lb. are shipped with FedEx or UPS. Below you will find the FedEx ground shipping map from our warehouse to all 48 contiguous US states.

Please include the following information when creating a support ticket regarding shipping times:
- What is the latest date you need your order by?
- What is your zip/postal code?
We also ship with UPS Ground which has similar delivery times as the map below, however, some zip/postal codes will have slower delivery times. Please leave a note specifying when you need your order by so we can choose a courier that will arrive the fastest and most cost-efficient. Please see the article How to Add a Note to an Order for more information.
Example of Shipping Times
Orders will arrive on specified delivery days, as long as there are no issues or delays with shipping. Delivery times are not guaranteed, and are based on a 'business day'. The day your order is processed does not count as a business day. An order shipped on Monday to an address that takes four business days would arrive on Friday, assuming there are no unforeseen delays.
Please always plan ahead and leave a few extra days just in case.
Express Shipping: Cost and Delivery Times
FedEx or UPS Express Priority Shipping to anywhere in the mainland is expected to arrive the next business day. Express Priority Shipping is calculated by weight and/or dimensional weight at checkout.
Please Note: Bulky items cost more to ship. Express Shipping starts at $19.84 and increases depending on the weight.
FedEx 2-Day Express Shipping is expected to arrive in 2 business days (the day you place your order does not count as a business day). FedEx 2-Day Express shipping starts at $15.92 and increases depending on the weight.
The Bargain Balloons online checkout does not allow you to express ship weights, balloon sticks, Hi-Float, cups, or ribbons. Please contact an agent or open a support ticket if you need any of these items express shipped so we can manually calculate your shipping costs. Your tracking information is e-mailed to you the same day your order ships.
