Galentine's Day is an unofficial fictional holiday celebrated on February 13. It was invented by Leslie Knope, a fictional character on the television show "Parks and Recreation".

Leslie (Amy Poehler) invented Galentine's Day to show appreciation for the female friendships in her life regardless if they are single or not. In season 2 episode 16, Leslie invites a group of her female friends out to breakfast, while leaving the husbands and boyfriends at home. She shares with her friends a gift bag filled with hand crochet flower pens, a mosaic picture of them, and a personalized five thousand-word essay explaining why they are so awesome.

This unofficial holiday is now widely recognized and celebrated by women by throwing Galentine's Day breakfasts and brunches. There has also been an explosion of Galentine's Day products being manufactured such as balloons, cards, gift bags, apparel, etc., and blogs and vlogs that offer information on party ideas, decor, and gifts to give to guests.

Anagram created two Galentine's Day foil balloons inspired by this unofficial holiday. These balloons are ideal party decor for any Galentine's Day party or as a gift for a friend.
