Every great team needs a mascot to encourage players/coaches, and Qualatex is no different. Mr. Q was created in 2009 to be a superhero, fighting against bland and uninspiring designs. He embodies the four keys of Qualatex; quality, education, innovation, and service. He makes appearances at balloon conventions, and he even has his own Facebook and Twitter pages. On his Facebook page, he posts photos of new products, videos, event dates, links to helpful information, content, and inspiring balloon designs. Some also see Mr. Q as a scientist, who is hard at work developing new products and ideas to push the balloon industry forward.
