Pioneer, the manufacturer of Cloudbuster balloons, does not recommend using these balloons for gender reveal.
The latex used for Cloudbuster Balloons is thicker and will not pop as expected. These balloons are also difficult to tie and the amount of helium required to make the balloon float makes this the least cost-efficient option. Air-fill is an option, but again, it will not pop as expected.
If you decide to use a Cloudbuster Balloon for a gender reveal, it is strongly recommended to wear safety glasses when inflating and popping these balloons.
