Partysafe is a party and safety resource website dedicated to specifically educating children, parents, consumers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and industry providers on product safety, warnings and labels, and educational documents for children.
The site is created by the European Balloon and Party Council (EBPC) and offers an extensive history of balloons, tips for proper balloon handling, and other information on balloons such as helium usage, and the effect of balloons on the environment and people. PartySafe also provides safety tips and definitions for certain products. Some of these products include candles, masks, costumes, confetti, balloon pumps, party hats, etc.
Retailers who become Partysafe members must follow the outlined code of conduct. These include advising customers to use balloon pumps, supervise children, never release balloons outdoors, use balloon weights, dispose of balloons correctly, and always be aware of latex allergies.
