To remove a regulator from a helium tank:
- Make sure to close the cylinder valve by turning it to the right.
- Then you must release pressure from the inflator by depressing the nozzle as if you are filling a balloon. You will hear some gas release. If the gas release does not stop quickly– the cylinder is not closed.
- Then unscrew the hand-tight connection and remove the inflator from the cylinder.
Please Note: Never transport a cylinder with a nozzle attached.
