Balloon manufacturers group balloons into categories by colors and finishes typically. There is no industry standard for terms used to describe different groupings of colors and finishes into categories.
For Example:
- Qualatex includes 8 colors in their Standard Color line.
- Decomex has 12 colors in their Standard Color line of latex balloons and uses the terms ‘Pastel’ or ‘Deco’ to describe their balloons outside of their Standard Color line.
- Betallatex does not use the term Standard, but instead groups what would normally be standard colors into a group called ‘Fashion’ which has 14 colors.

*Pastel: The standard definition of pastel is "a soft and delicate shade of a color." However, many manufacturers, like Decomex and Kalisan, use the term loosely by including an entire color selection that most customers would agree– is NOT a pastel color. Therefore, Bargain Balloons removes the term 'pastel' on our website to avoid confusion even though the term pastel may appear on the product packaging.
